2012 Election Candidates - Previous Revision

Members of NCTE have elected Ernest Morrell to the office of vice president. Morrell is the incoming director of the Institute for Urban Minority Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. He was been member of the CEE Executive Committee (2003-07), has served on several NCTE committees, and has authored numerous books. Morrell will take office during the NCTE Annual Convention in Chicago in November, will become president-elect in 2012, and will assume the presidency of the Council during the 2013 Annual Convention in Boston.
