2012 Election Candidates - Previous Revision

Ballots will be mailed to NCTE members in April. Completed ballots must be returned to NCTE by June 1. Results of the elections will be posted by mid-June.

NCTE Elections

For Vice President (one to be elected, term to expire 2012): Bobbi Ciriza Houtchens, California State University, San Bernardino; Ernest Morrell, University of California at Los Angeles; Rudy Sharpe, Lancaster Country Day School, Pennsylvania.

For Elementary Representative-at-Large (one to be elected, term to expire 2013): Franki Sibberson, Dublin City Schools, Ohio; Jan Spohn, North Allegheny Schools, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

For Middle Level Representative-at-Large (one to be elected, term to expire 2013): Connie Nagel, Pleasant Valley Junior High School, LeClaire, Iowa; Samuel A. Reed III, Beeber Middle School, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

For Trustees of the Research Foundation (one to be elected, term to expire 2014): JoBeth Allen, University of Georgia, Athens; Sonia Nieto, University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

For the NCTE Nominating Committee (one to be elected from each group, terms to expire 2012):
