The future—of teaching and learning, of our discipline, of higher education—was at the center of the 2013 TYCA-NE conference, "R/evolutions: Addressing Pedagogical and Institutional Change in Higher Education.” Stacy Korbelak, Howard Community College, offers a look at current political trends related to 2YC English in the Northeastern states and across the nation in her PowerPoint, “TYCA Northeast Legislative & Policy Highlights” (insert link to PPtx). Additionally, links to other sessions will be forthcoming on the TYCE-NE website (http://www.tycanortheast.org/). In the meantime, enjoy a brief YouTube video of conference highlights (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RsHHAxL-R_g) and a reading by featured speaker Steve Straight of his poem, “Flag of Cucumber” (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQyomKBpFiE).
