Story Workshop: The Power of Playful Literacy

Susan and her fellow teacher-researchers at Opal Charter School in Portland investigated a question: What is the connection between literacy, play, and the arts? Their work with children ages 3-9 led them to design the structure of Story Workshop, a methodology supporting playful literacy.
