This Live Web seminar is part of a series focused on supporting school leaders in their work as coaches, administrators, or other leadership roles. The live Instructional Leadership Web seminars are available to school leadership teams at no charge thanks to the generous sponsorship of The Ball Foundation!
In this Web seminar, learn about the purpose, essential elements, and potential rewards of using instructional rounds to get a clearer picture of what’s actually taking place in the instructional core in your district’s schools.
This Web seminar will be led by members of the New Jersey Network of Superintendents, a community of practice that has successfully used instructional rounds over the last four years to enable participants to take a clearer, deeper look into the instructional core of educational practice than would otherwise be achieved. In the process, participating superintendents have sharpened their own lenses for looking in on instruction, and have learned new disciplines and practices to apply to their own efforts to increase the instructional focus and impact in their schools.
During this hour, you will directly hear from educational administrators how instructional rounds has influenced their work as instructional leaders focused on achieving equity and excellence in K-12 public education.
