The Secondary Section of the National Council of Teachers of English enhances the professional lives of secondary English language arts educators and the quality of education of their students by providing multiple forums for significant dialogue on historical, current, and emerging topics of interest to secondary English language arts educators.

MASTERPIECE on PBS
has a new Film in the Classroom Teacher’s Guide available free at http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/masterpiece/learn/index.html . The Guide is a resource for teachers of English, drama, and media studies, and features an introduction by John Golden, NCTE film consultant.
