Lesson Plans
A new adaptation of The Diary of Anne Frank will premiere this spring on MASTERPIECE Classic on PBS. The two-hour film will air on the Emmy-winning drama series on April 11, 2010, which is Holocaust Remembrance Day. The Diary of Anne Frank is a modern literary classic and an extraordinary social document that gives a unique account of life in hiding under Nazi terror in World World II from the perspective of a teenage Jewish girl. Since its publication more than 50 years ago, it has become the world’s most widely read work of non-fiction after the Bible. For more information, go to http://www.pbs.org/aboutpbs/news/20091006_pbsannefrank.html
Teachers, we'd like to have your input on what you would like to see in the Guide, and what’s worked well for them when you teach The Diary.
