Participants Feedback from a Recent Presentation
I enjoyed the various games we played during the session. It helped me when you listed them on the chalkboard (Pre/During/Post). I feel that I have learned some new strategies to try with my students when school starts in August. I also liked the handouts we got from our classmates.
The activities presented are ones I look forward to trying out in my classroom I especially enjoyed your sense of humor. You made a fun, non-threatening atmosphere.
Bill, I really appreciated all of the practical ideas that you presented by actually modeling them over the past few days. I enjoyed the fun atmosphere you created that allowed us to feel comfortable enough to take risks and express ourselves. The humor you wove throughout your teaching is fantastic! I enjoyed the workshop because of you.
Participating in games was helpful and the part I will retain the most for future use in the classroom. Your sense of humor is remarkable and has made this a very enjoyable workshop.
The games and the poetry were the parts of this class I enjoyed the most. This class was so much fun.
I really liked the “snowball” activity. Getting ideas from the others will be helpful. We covered a lot of topics that were good. The Oprah video: Great! Very lifting. The only thing I would say negative would be that everything seemed to be geared toward K-1-2. Thanks!
I really liked the way you involved everyone with the activities instead of making us sit all day. I got a lot of good ideas from the activities. When you listed the activities on the board in pre, during and post categories that was really helpful. Now I have a selection of activities for all aspects of a lesson. I needed activities to do which are a good substitute for worksheets.
I liked all of the hands-on activities. A working lunch was great and appreciated. Your packet of the activities you used was beneficial. |
