 |  | Linda is a former Director of Teacher Education Assessment and Professor of Reading; she is currently doing collaborative classroom research in the areas of multiliteracies and teacher education. Linda has published several books, including Whole Language: Getting Started…Moving Forward, Standards in Practice K – 2, and Challenges of Holistic Teaching. She is a regular presenter at NCTE, AERA, International Reading Association, and Whole Language Umbrella meetings.
She is available to speak to K-12 and college faculty audiences in the following areas: Reading process, Reading/writing Relationships & Curriculum, Multiliteracies, Critical Literacy, Emergent Literacy, Text Sets & Intertextuality, Comprehension Strategies, Assessment & Evaluation, Inquiry Curriculum, Standards in Practice, Constructivist Learning Theory & Practice and Literacy Coaching. |
