Comments from Katherine's Recent Consulting Engagement in North Carolina

"Her workshop was full of inspiration and passion.  She literally conducted a mini-institute in "writing workshop."  Our staff gained tremendous insight and inspiration as a result.  I believe they have come to realize that this is a very sensible/powerful way to teach writing, and for that matter, anything.  And they loved her.  She's so very personable - genuine, honest.  I really couldn't ask for anyone better to address the literacy (writing needs) of our school.

Katherine really took the time to get to know us as people, aside from understanding completely our desires, passions, and struggles with this "paradigm shift," as it counteracts an artificial "managed curriculum."

It's kind of like the day after Christmas around here.  We've gone through the exciting build-up, the tremendous workshop itself, and now we are feeling "like we wish it could have lasted longer..."  We were so very fortunate.

You don't meet too many people like Katherine Bomer in this world.  Her visit to our school was the best thing that ever happened to this school!"
