Grades 3-5 Poem "Little Bits," we recite then they practice as two groups
Start: Share "Math is a Religion" and St. Peter at the Pearly Gates"
Overview: Emphasis on integrating math, language (reding/writing); and few books that show integration of math and science and social studies
Share Two Ways to Count to Ten; Invite them to do at least numbers 1-20 Discuss problem posing briefly: What if we tried to count to 10 in other ways? What if we used a different number?
