Teacher Professional Development that Results in Raising Student Achievement
As the professional home of the English language arts community, the National Council of Teachers of English is uniquely qualified to provide professional development that enhances teaching while raising student achievement. The Pathways professional development program is flexible, convenient, and affordable and provides the most current research and best practices along with the tools to customize the program to support teachers at all levels of experience.

Research-Based Professional Development

Pathways is not a one-size-fits-all program. Drawing on the rich resources of the Council, the program provides job-embedded professional development in the areas of Adolescent Literacy and English Language Learners (ELL). Coming soon in the summer of 2008—21st Century Literacies!
