Pathways Continuing Education Information
It is possible to earn graduate continuing education units for participating in the on-line program, Pathways for Advancing Adolescent Literacy through the University of San Diego. These graduate continuing education units are typically used to renew teaching credentials and to move teachers along salary schedules. The requirements about whether or not these units “count” in your individual case, is determined by your state and sometimes, individual school districts. You'll need to find out about your eligibility from your school district/state. These graduate continuing education units are NOT used in graduate master degree programs.

These are semester units and you will be required to have 15 contact hours for each unit. You can earn more than 1 unit depending on your hours of participation. For every 15 hours spent on-line, you are eligible for 1 unit of graduate continuing education credit. In order to qualify you must submit the following:

Payment. The cost of each semester graduate continuing education unit is $50.00. (2 units cost $100; 3 units cost $150)
The University of San Diego will send you or your school district an official transcript. You may request an additional transcript for $5.00.
