Earn Graduate Credit When You Attend the NCTE Institute for 21st Century Literacies!

Participants at the NCTE Institute for 21st Century Literacies will have two options for earning graduate credit through IUPUI if they wish.

OPTION 1:  Earn one graduate credit
This option will require documentation of attendance and reflection on individual learning during the days of the conference. A prompted writing will be submitted within a week of the conference. In order to earn the credit, participants will need to document at least 15 hours of session attendance and write about how they plan to implement what they've learned in their teaching context during the coming year. This is a workshop credit which will receive a pass/fail grade.

OPTION 2: Earn three graduate credits
This option begins with participation in the Institute and continues throughout the fall semester. Participants will reflect on their learning at the conference, participate in ongoing online conversations during the fall semester, and implement projects related to their teaching contexts. The people enrolled in this section will be expected to utilize the Pathways for Advancing 21st Century Literacies program that they will receive as part of their Institute registration. This is a letter-graded language education course.

COST:
One credit: $269.05
Three credits: $807.15

IUPUI has graciously agreed to offer these in-state tuition rates to all NCTE Summer Institute participants regardless of geographical location!
