CCCC Annual Convention

Conference on College Composition and Communication

62nd Annual Convention


Who:  The nation's largest professional organization of writing teachers, the Conference on College Composition and Communication (CCCC).  With more than 5,000 individual members, CCCC is a constituent group for college-level teachers of writing and related subjects within the National Council of Teachers of English.


What:  The 2011 CCCC Annual Convention.  On the program are hundreds of sessions and workshops focusing on higher education and the teaching of composition at the college level, exhibits of educational materials, sessions of working committees, and a business meeting.  The theme for this year's Convention is "All Our Relations: Contested Space, Contested Knowledge."


When:  Wednesday, April 6–Saturday, April 9, 2011.


Where:  Atlanta, Georgia


Attendees:  More than 2,000 higher education professionals interested in teaching composition, rhetoric, and communication at colleges and universities across the country and around the world.
