Indiana Education Leaders View Policy Differently

Determining education policy in Indiana these days is contested ground between state superintendent of public instruction Glenda Ritz, the State Board of Education members, and Indiana Governor Mike Pence.  These stakeholders are in ongoing negotiations regarding who determines policy, directs funding, and determines the future for Indiana students.  The K-12 educational landscape changes with each passing month.
