Teachers have two options for credit. NCTE works with the University of San Diego to offer a very affordable contiinuing education credit option. We also offer many tools within Pathyways to keep track of your work and log your participation so you can submit the request to your local credit granting agency. For more detailed information see http://www.ncte.org/pathways/credit The units of study or learnign strands as they are called in Pathways offer significant choices in teh materials you select therefore there is no one answer for how long. Participants gain access for one full year when enrolling. You are able to keep a log of the resources you access and apply. As an example, the continuing education credit option mentioned above offers a unit of credit for every 15 hours of involvement. Feel free to contact the professional development office if you have more questions. Sharon Roth sroth@ncte.org
