Pathways Professional Development Program - Previous Revision

The Pathways Program is a yearlong online experience for teachers that flexible and affordable professional development opportunity offered by NCTE. Other options include the Consulting NetworkWeb Seminars and Resource Kits.  Based on the NCTE Guideline, Principles of  Professional Development, all of these work together to provide the tools, resources, and support that teachers need to make a positive impact on student learning. 

 

Focusing on hot-topic issues such as Adolescent LiteracyEnglish Language Learners, and 21st Century Literacies, Pathways gives you the tools and resources you need to:

 

  • Explore  Web seminars, podcasts, and key readings from experts in the field
  • Participate in live chats with featured authors and classroom teachers 
  • Reflect on teaching practices through classroom videos
  • Develop and test strategies and lesson plans in your own classroom
  • Earn credit
