NCLE Releases First Book
What does it mean to take education change to scale? Find out in the new book Taking Inquiry to Scale: An Alternative to Traditional Approaches to Education Reform from NCTE and the National Center for Literacy Education (NCLE). Author Michael J. Palmisano argues persuasively that change happens when educators come together to learn with and from one another in the context of shared practice.

Using the NCLE Asset Inventory for Collaborative Teams:  In her recent post "The Fault of Perfection," currently featured on the Literacy in Learning Exchange, Carla Aranda suggests resources, tools, protocols, and supports offered on the Exchange site that can help educators step into "a more open, evidence-based practice." See "Using the Asset Inventory: A Process Learning Circle Approach," an invaluable resource to any learning teams investigating how they can use the NCLE Asset Inventory to support effective collaboration.
