NCTE Partners with First Book to Provide Free Books for Members’ Classrooms
In partnership with First Book, NCTE is excited to announce an opportunity for members to receive free books for their classrooms! First Book, a nonprofit social enterprise focused on equal access to quality education for kids in need, provides educators with brand-new, high-quality books, educational resources, and other essentials to help kids learn.
NCTE members from Title I schools, or who meet First Book’s other eligibility requirements, should apply by filling out this form. Fifty members will be chosen to receive a $50 gift certificate to purchase books from First Book’s marketplace. Please apply by March 1, 2021.
