    Abstract: Reflective practice about our responsibilities as educators is requisite to good leadership. In this issue, Anne Elrod Whitney and Bernard Badiali consider the moral responsibility involved in writing about one’s teaching for general public audiences; Paul Rogers contributes a thought-provoking article encouraging English teachers and leaders to consider and discuss a code of ethics drafted by members of the California Central Council of Teachers of English’s Curriculum Study Commission (CSC) as a starting point in professionalizing the teaching of English; then Thomas McCann, Paula Ressler, Dianne Chambers, and Judy Minor describe findings and implications from a study they conducted on a collaborative student teaching model. This issue will surely inspire you to grow more reflective—and responsible—in your practice.
