Is there anyway to search for topics that the EJ may have done articles on?

I am looking for an article written and I don't remember author or title-just remember the subject. It was an English teacher who helped search for a student who went missing. They were unable to find him because his car went off the road and wasn't found right away. It was a touching article about how the different ways we lend a hand to our students and it ended with him as one of the pall bearers at the young man's funeral. Anyone remember article or where I could get a copy? I usually save my English journals but can't find it so it is several years old. Thanks.
