READWRITETHINK.ORG ONLINE PUBLICATIONS/CONTENT SPECIALIST
We are seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of ReadWriteThink Online Publications/Content Specialist. This position is responsible for content acquisition; creation, design, and testing of computer interactives; and communication with educators in the field. The Online Publications/Content Specialist will also lead training workshops, make presentations, and act as an advisor to classroom teachers, staff developers, and other school leaders on the use of NCTE/RWT professional development resources.
The successful applicant will possess a B.A. in English or related field or teaching certificate; working knowledge of K-16 English language arts classrooms; excellent reading, speaking, writing, listening, collaborating, and negotiating skills; strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain effective relationships with management, co-workers, partner organizations, vendors, and the general public; as well as technical knowledge of HTML and other online educational programs.
