We are Seeking Applications for the Following Positions:
DESKTOP SUPPORT SPECIALIST
The National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) is seeking a part-time Desktop Support Specialist to join our Information Technology department. This position works 19 hours per week with the Manager of Network Services to support staff members with hardware and software issues, respond to helpdesk requests, and support staff as needed.
The successful applicant will possess excellent communication skills; have the ability to work well with others; have a thorough understanding of Microsoft Office 2003 or above; and possess knowledge of basic DOS commands, how to add a network printer, and Microsoft Windows XP Professional Edition. Certifications in A+, Net+, or MCP for Windows XP helpful.
