Assistant Professor of Reading/Early Childhood
Description
Duties include teaching reading, language & literacy, early childhood education, early literacy and related subjects in traditional campus-based and online courses. Additional duties include advising students, conducting scholarly research, active participation in professional organizations and university service. Department of Eduction is developing innovative teaching strategies in the areas of travel abroad and cross-discipline collaboration in an effort to promote knowledge acquisition in English Language Learning/Bilingual Education and multi-culturalism. All applicants must demonstrate a willingness to learn, support, and promote these initiatives. Applicants must have earned doctorate in reading, language & literacy, early childhood or related field. ABD considered with stipulations. Teaching exp. of at least three years at elementary level is required.
