Assistant Professor of English (Elementary English Education)
Major Duties: Teach undergraduate pedagogy courses; serve on departmental committees. Minimum Qualifications: M.A. or M.Ed. Three years of teaching experience in elementary or middle grades classrooms. Ability to teach undergraduate courses in writing pedagogy for future elementary teachers. Desired Qualifications: Experience in one or more of the following: theory and pedagogy of teaching writing; NWP; ESL; teaching of grammar; classroom research; and technology.
