NCTE Consulting Network Continues to Grow.  Writing, grammar, literacy coaching, teaching ELL’s, and linking literature and math are just some of the needs of schools who have contracted with NCTE for consultants during the past year.  Currently, over thirty literacy leaders are in the Consulting Network and during the past they have been busy working with schools, districts, and affiliates across the nation.  The complete listing of consultants can be viewed at www.ncte.org/profdev/onsite/consultants.  Our most recent consultants include Susanne Rubenstein (writing and literature), Sandra Mercuri (ELL), Chris Jennings Dixon (writing), Harry Noden (grammar), and Brian Huot (writing and assessment).

As an NCTE leader, if you are interested in applying to the network, visit the FAQ section of the NCTE Professional Development web site (www.ncte.org/profdev/onsite).  If you want to request a speaker for a conference, complete the online form (http://www.ncte.org/profdev/onsite/consult/117822.htm) or call the NCTE Professional Development Department at 1-800-369-6283, ext. 3617 for Janet Brown or 3627 for Leslie Froeschl.
