Annual Reporting for NCTE Assemblies
The 2007 annual reports will be available in late summer or early fall. An email notification will be sent to affiliate leaders when the reports are posted.
Four things to know about annual reports:
- We have replaced the Assembly editor report with an online survey that will be e-mail to assembly editors soon.
- Except for dues, all the items below can be sent via e-mail or by using the new online reports.
- Except for the online reports and dues, the items below will most-likely just need to be gathered (such as meeting minutes, roster of officers, membership forms, and conference and special project fliers).
- You may submit these items as a group, or individually as you collect them. Please make sure each item is clearly labeled with your affiliate's name and, of course, your name.

____ Assembly editors (journal, newsletter, website): Please click http://www.ncte.org/groups/affiliates/annual/121012.htm to reach information and the annual report form for editors.
____ Roster Statement Form : The Roster Statement form should be attached to or submitted with your roster of officers (by U.S. mail, fax, or e-mail). This short form is located here: http://www.ncte.org/groups/affiliates/109067.htm OR you may copy and paste the following text into an e-mail (preferrably the e-mail in which you send your officer/roster information) and send to Jodi at :
"According to the rules of affiliation with NCTE described in the NCTE Constitution, Article V. Section C., all members of the affiliate governing board must be members of NCTE.
___I have checked with all the persons listed as officers, editors, SLATE Representative, and members of the governing board and they affirm that they are members of NCTE."

_____ Roster of Officers: Submit a roster by U.S. Mail, fax, or e-mail. Please include full address, telephone numbers, and a preferred e-mail for each officer, and general dates of each officer's term. This complete information will help make communication between the assembly and NCTE efficient and timely. Please be sure to include contact information for your assembly's liaison officer to NCTE.
____ Meeting Minutes for July 1, 2006 - June 30, 2007 (submit by U.S. Mail, fax, or e-mail): Please send a copy your assembly's meeting minutes. You do not need to submit these if your assembly sends them throughout the year. Please put the NCTE Assembly Director on your mailing list to receive Executive Board minutes or e-mail the minutes to . Please attach any assembly documents that NCTE HAS NOT ALREADY RECEIVED this year, including minutes of board meetings and conference programs.
____ Board of Directors Form: This form is due by September 15. We encourage you to consider this form as part of your annual report. This form confirms the assembly officer(s) who will be attending the Board of Directors Meeting at NCTE's Annual Convention in November. The form is located here: http://www.ncte.org/groups/assm/annual/110367.htm. You may submit this form by U.S. Mail, fax, or e-mail.
_____ Annual Report on Assembly Activities: Please prepare a brief summary of your assembly's activities and accomplishments for the past fiscal year (July 1, 2006 - June 30, 2007). To assist you in preparing your Annual Report, you might review sample copies of reports submitted last year at http://www.ncte.org/about/gov/reports/05annrpt/assm. Please e-mail your summary to Linda Walters () or include a print version in your other report submissions to the Affiliate Office.
