National Promotion of Affiliate and Assembly Publications

 
The SCOA Subcommittee to Review Publications of Affiliates and Assemblies is called upon to review a dozen or so publications each year and generally recommends that the Council promote three or four of these through its catalog and Web site.

The editor of an affiliate or assembly publication who wishes to submit material for the committee's consideration should send six copies of the publication to Kurt Austin, Senior Editor, NCTE, 1111 W. Kenyon Road, Urbana, Illinois 61801-1096. The Committee will review the publication, and, for those publications that are approved for national promotion, will request a brief annotation (100 to 150 words) describing the publication, as well as ordering information for mail, telephone, and e-mail orders (if available).  NCTE members who wish to order a copy of the publication will then contact the affiliate or assembly directly to place their orders.

Submissions for the committee's consideration should be themed publications devoted to a single topic or concern of national interest.  For more information contact Kurt Austin.
