You can access your journals by logging in with your user id and password through www.ncte.org. Your default user id/account number is the six digit number which appears above your name on NCTE mailings. Your default password is your last name.
For manuscript submission information to our journals, please go to our website www.ncte.org/pubs/journals. Click on the journal of your choice that you wish to submit your manuscript to. At the journal page, you will see a heading of "write for (journal name)".

NCTE accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, check, money order, or purchase order as payment. Unfortunately, we do not accept American Express at this time.
We offer IP Authentication access for our Institutional Subscribers. To activate this service please provide the IP addresses with your order. When payment is received for a subscription and the IP Addresses have been provided, access will be available within 48 hours from receipt of this information. If your institution already has a current subscription and wishes to have IP Authentication access, please contact Customer Service by phone at 877-369-6283 or online at wwwdev.ncte.org/contact.
Yes, you can log into your account and click on the My Profile tab at the top of the page to change your user id and password. Once you have updated your user id and password, you would scroll to the bottom of the page and hit submit to save the changes.
Please make sure to enter an alphanumeric combination for both your user id and password, and please avoid using any special characters when creating your user id and password.
If you are mailing in your renewal form, please make any changes directly on the form. Changes are currently not able to be processed through the online renewal system. If you would like to renew and make the changes by phone, please contact NCTE Customer Service at 877-369-6283.
If you are a member, the six digit number that appears one the top line of your mailing label on any materials received from NCTE, is your membership/id number. This is also your default login for your account online. You would use this six digit number as your user id and your last name as your password.
If you purchase your subscription through our online store, we run the access program every 3 hours starting at 7 am Central Time and running through 10 pm Central Time. If you join between 10 pm Central Time and 7 am Central Time, your access will be given during the 7 am Central Time update.
If you purchased your subscription by phone, please allow 48 hours processing time if done Monday through Thursday or 72 hours if done on Friday.
