Kathleen has inspired educators locally, nationally, and internationally for over 20 years through her workshops/coaching on educational topics such as Differentiated Instruction, Reading/Writing in the Content, Teaching in the Block Schedule, Co-teaching, Writing Workshop, On-going Assessment and more. Kathleen has taught general education, special education and gifted education working with students of varying socio-economic and multi-cultural backgrounds across the K-12 grade levels. She is co-author of “Inspiring Middle and Secondary Learners,” and “Inspiring Elementary Learners,” and soon-to-be-published, "Winning Strategies for Test-taking” and “Chunk, Chew and Check: That’s How the Brain Learns Best.” Her inspiring workshops help teachers see that they can make a difference for students through rigorous and relevant teaching practices.
