Workshops

Comments from Participants

This is the best workshop I have ever attended. I especially appreciated the practical suggestions and tips for helping me with the teaching of writing. I also enjoyed the fact that I was re-introduced to a network of writers who are fellow teachers. Thanks for including people from all [secondary] grades. I received valuable tips from both Dr. Ingraham and my fellow educators.

What a wonderful experience! I learned a lot through all the provided experiences and the interaction with my peers. I hope that we are all allowed to continue to meet and share and learn more. This type of experience energizes me!

I feel better about teaching writing in my classes. I feel re-energized and ready to start doing this in class.

This has been one of the most practical workshops I have attended. I better understand some of the problems and stresses that my students encounter. It also gave me an opportunity and encouragement to find my personal voice. The strategies we worked on can easily adapt to my classes. Thanks.

I loved it! I felt that there was plenty of time to do all of the activities and that we were never hurrying through anything. . . . I wish all teachers could experience this workshop.”

[Lauren] made it possible for participants to drop their ‘public’ masks the first session. There was a very low risk factor.

Excellent organization and content. I really appreciate that not one minute of my time was wasted.
