Lauren Ingraham is Associate Professor of English and Director of Composition at The University of Tennessee in Chattanooga, where she teaches writing workshops for pre-service teachers as well as courses in first-year composition, grant writing, composition theory and practice, and business writing. She enjoys working with middle school, high school, and college-based audiences on literacy-based curricular reform, literacy preparedness for college, integrating nonfiction reading and writing into the curriculum, reflective writing and portfolios, and writing teacher preparation. Her publications include articles or chapters in WPA: Writing Program Administration, Composition Studies, and The Ethics of Writing Instruction, among others. Her book Arguing in the Real World: A Multimedia Approach to Teaching and Learning Argument is forthcoming from Prentice Hall.
