Consultants and Services on Differentiated Instruction - Previous Revision

NCTE offers consultants and services on differentiated instruction that when used together, provide extended learning opportunities for teachers and makes a positive impact on learning.  These opportunities include the Pathways ProgramWeb Seminars and books on differentiated instruction for study groups.  

Consultants are available to present one-day or multi-day presentations or provide year-round consulting.  All workshops and presentations can be customized to meet your specific needs.

Doug Fisher: K-12, English language learners, content literacy, curriculum design
Kathleen Kryza: K-12, reading/writing instruction, differentiated instruction
Katherine McKnight: 6-12, inclusive classroom wirting and literature

Differentiating Instruction
Consultant:  Mary Catherine Moran
Diversity among the children that we work with is to be celebrated. Often however, teachers are overwhelmed with the practical aspects of how to effectively meet the literacy learning needs of ALL of the students in the classroom. This workshop discusses learning challenges associated with students with disabilities and considers instructional plans that meet their needs.  

Differentiated Instruction—Introductory to Advanced
Consultant:  Kathleen Kryza
Take the complexity out of differentiating! Kathleen offers a step-by-step plan for creating a differentiated classroom. Learn how to honor all learners, build community and design engaging and meaningful lessons that meet standards and benchmarks while keeping the learning in your classroom rigorous and relevant. Kathleen has a multitude of dynamic, practical strategies and lessons examples for differentiating in Grades K-12.
