Beverly Chin - Previous Revision

Beverly Ann ChinBeverly Ann Chin enjoys working with teachers and students at all levels of education around the world. As Director of the English Teaching Program at the University of Montana, she teaches undergraduate and graduate courses for beginning and experienced English language arts teachers. Beverly is the author of On Your Own: Writing (Prentice Hall, 1990) and On Your Own: Grammar (Prentice Hall, 1991); Senior Program Advisor for The Reader’s Choice (Glencoe/McGraw Hill, 2000) and Senior Series Consultant for Grammar for Writing (William H. Sadlier, 2000). She appears on The Expanding Canon, a video program sponsored by the Annenberg Foundation and NCTE (WNET-13, 2003). As a past president of NCTE and a former board member of National Board for Professional Teaching Standards, Beverly consults on nearly all aspects of English language arts instruction across all grade levels.
