is a District English Supervisor of the Pascack Valley Regional HS District
in Montvale, N.J. She has held that position for the past twelve years. Edie has taught English on every grade level from kindergarten through college. She is a graduate of Montclair State University and Drew University.
Edie has been a member of NCTE and CEL for the past twenty years. She has served as CEL Member-at-Large and the Chair of the 2008 San Antonio National Convention. She is a frequent speaker and presenter at NCTE, CEL, ASCD and National School Boards. She has presented all over the United States and in Europe. Edie has written two books: Teachable Moments: A Parent’s Guide for Helping Your Child Excel, and Barron’s HSPA, a New Jersey study guide for the state mandated graduation test in language arts. She was chosen as the 2008 Language Arts Educator of the year by the New Jersey Council of Teachers of English.
Edie enjoys reading, theater, and traveling. She is thankful to CEL for giving her the professional experiences and collegiality that have helped her grow and learn as school administrator.
