Whether you’re a veteran or novice educator, you have experiences to share to help us become better leaders in our diverse society. We invite you to submit a proposal to tell your story, share your strategy, demonstrate your lessons, or report your research. Our interactive workshops are designed to give our conference attendees insight into ways they can better serve the communities in which we live and work. SUBMIT YOUR PROPOSAL before May 1, 2010!!!

2009 CEL Annual Convention Followup
We had a wonderful conference November 22-24 in Philadelphia with over 150 attending and over fifty presentations in a novel workshop format with single, the paired and the round tables session, along with a joint session with the ALAN conferees. Please see the CEL 2009 Ning for handouts and video from this successful gathering with keynote speakers: Ann Anzalone, Jeff Golub, Clella Jaffe, Bill McBride, Gary D. Schmidt, Carol Ann Tomlinson, and Sharon Washington. Thanks to the warm welcome from our Hospitality Commiteee and on-going support of the Executive Committee and Chair, Debbie McCullar, a fine time was had by all. ~Anna Roseboro, 2009 Program Chair
