With Literacy and Justice for All: Fostering Literacy Development in the ELA Classroom

The workshop will focus on diverse learners in our classrooms. We will consider how to best meet the needs of students with disabilities, those whose first language is not English, and those who face issues of racism and classism every day. Modules will include "All Learners Learning Every Day," "The Speak Up Project," and "Apprenticing Bilingual Learners to Academic Writing." For more details, click here.

Sponsored by the CEE Poetry Commission
This interactive poster session sponsored by the Poetry Commission is designed for participants to creatively reflect and respond to some aspect of the conference. By creating a 'group poem' participants will collaborate on a poem during the conference and it will be shared during a designated time at the conference.
