National Day on Writing and CEE
The U.S. Senate Resolution 565 declares October 20, 2012, as the National Day on Writing! To celebrate this year's theme "What I Write," join NCTE, the National Writing Project, the New York Times Learning Network, and others on October 19-20 and post your compositions in all forms to Twitter #whatiwrite.
Since the National Gallery of Writing opened on October 20, 2009, more than 3,300 galleries were created and nearly 33,000 writing contributions were submitted. While the Gallery is now closed for submissions, as a searchable archive, it's a great resource for you to use when involving others in writing. You are invited to contribute to CEE’s gallery for The National Day on Writing! Visit the CEE gallery, “Becoming a Teacher of Writing: What Matters Most” in NCTE’s National Gallery of Writing website.
