Call for Nominations: CEE Representative to the NCTE College Forum
CEE Chair Janet Alsup invites nominations for the position of CEE Representative to the NCTE College Forum Committee, 2010-2014. The NCTE College Forum Committee is a standing committee which facilitates collaboration among the college groups of NCTE (CCCC, CEE, TYCA, and the College Section) with the goal of increasing membership in all groups. Committee members include the chairs and one representative from each college group. The CEE Representative to the NCTE College Forum Committee is elected from the membership of CEE by a majority vote of the CEE Executive Committee (this vote will take place at the November 2010 CEE EC meeting) and serves a four-year term, which begins at noon on Sunday, November 21, 2010. In the fourth year of the term (2014), the Representative succeeds to the post of Chair of the NCTE College Forum Committee. The College Forum typically meets at the NCTE Annual Convention. Please send nominations to the CEE Administrative Liaison at cee@ncte.org by October 1, 2010. We encourage self-nominations.
