"Moving Forward: Possibilities in English Teacher Education"
On behalf of the Conference on English Education, the English education program at Colorado State University is proud to host the 2013 CEE summer conference, open to all CEE members. This conference is designed for all English teacher educators and graduate students who focus on the preparation of pre-service and/or in-service teachers of English language arts and literacy. Registration is limited to 150-200 participants.
Located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains - only 70 minutes from Denver International Airport - Fort Collins is an ideal location for the CEE summer conference. In July, the weather is usually warm but rarely humid, the air is clear, and the views of nearby mountains are breathtaking.

Registration includes full access to the conference sessions as well as three breakfasts, two lunches, and one picnic dinner (Thursday evening). Dinner will not be provided on Friday and Saturday.

Dorm Rooms $65/day
We have a housing agreement for dorm rooms in the new Academic Village. A single room will be provided that includes a twin-sized bed, closet (no hangers), desk, bed linens, blankets, towels, pillows, high speed internet, bar soap, air conditioning and a private bathroom. Please bring your own toiletries. Your daily dorm fee also includes access to the CSU Recreation Center.

Air Travel: Denver (DIA) is the closest airport, located approximately 70 miles from Fort Collins. Please check the shuttle schedule before selecting your flights, and allow sufficient time to arrive at CSU.
Super Shuttle provides hourly service between DIA and Fort Collins (70 miles) with a stop at the Academic Village and a stop at the Fort Collins Hilton. Please visit Super Shuttle for more information and discounted rates of $29 one-way (code CSU02).

Parking permits will be distributed at onsite registration. Parking permits are valid in all “A”, “Q”, “X” and “Z” parking zones. This permit is not valid in metered “Pay To Park” zones. Upon receiving your parking permit, you will need to IMMEDIATELY place it in the front windshield of your car.
The large lot west of Moby Arena is the parking area for "oversized vehicles" that require more than one standard parking space. Overnight camping is prohibited on University property.
Note: If you are driving a vehicle owned by staff, faculty, or student of Colorado State University, the permit is not valid.

Selected as a “Top 5 Distinctive Destination” in 2010, as well as rated one of Money Magazine’s “Best Places to Live”, Fort Collins is located on the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains with the foothills and 14,000-foot peaks visible to locals. Easy access to hiking, skiing, rafting and other outdoor sports is a great advantage to CSU conferees. Located just north of the Denver metro area, CSU is less than an hour away from one of the nation's leading airports – Denver International Airport (DIA). Experience world class white water rafting on the Cache La Poudre River, taste award winning beers at one of six local breweries or for the more relaxation-inclined, there are spas, shopping, and incredible dining galore to keep you satisfied.
