Local Area and Attractions

Fort Collins
Selected as a “Top 5 Distinctive Destination” in 2010, as well as rated one of Money Magazine’s “Best Places to Live”, Fort Collins is located on the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains with the foothills and 14,000-foot peaks visible to locals. Easy access to hiking, skiing, rafting and other outdoor sports is a great advantage to CSU conferees. Located just north of the Denver metro area, CSU is less than an hour away from one of the nation's leading airports – Denver International Airport (DIA). Experience world class white water rafting on the Cache La Poudre River, taste award winning beers at one of six local breweries or for the more relaxation-inclined, there are spas, shopping, and incredible dining galore to keep you satisfied.

Colorado State University
The Colorado State University campus is in the heart of Fort Collins. Located where the Rocky Mountains meet the Great Plains, CSU is an awe-inspiring conference site. Our beautiful campus provides a serious educational aura found only at a University, while the surrounding area beckons visitors with an outstanding variety of opportunities for recreation and relaxation. CSU is committed to sustainability.

Visit the Fort Collins Convention and Visitors Bureau for more information or to request a 2012-2013 Official Visitors Guide.
