Committee on Child Care Initiatives (November 2010)

Chair: Susan Miller-Cochran, North Carolina State University

In response to concerns raised by several members, this ad hoc committee is being formed to explore child care options in New Orleans and for subsequent conventions.  The committee is charged to:

a) identify reasonable arrangements for child care during the next four CCCC conventions

b) evaluate possible means by which the organization can facilitate child care

c) explore implications for childcare at the conventions

d) and propose options for childcare intervention to be discussed at the New Orleans convention
