Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Epsilon Sigma Omega Chapter in collaboration with the AKA Foundation of Central Pennsylvania, Inc. is pleased to announce Paula Young Shelton as this year’s feature author for the African American Read In that will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023, from 10:00 am – 12:30 pm at Steelton-Highspire Elementary School. Ms. Shelton, the daughter of civil rights figure U. S. Ambassador Andrew Young, will read and autograph her children’s book “Child of the Civil Rights Movement” during the African American Read In.
