The Conference on College Composition and Communication (CCCC) is searching for two important new editors to support member communication and professional publication. The CCC Online Journal Editor will be responsible for developing and editing an online counterpart to the print journal and will work with the CCC print editor. The MemberWeb Editor will provide vision and oversight of the communicative Web 2.0 potential of the CCCC website. Both will serve as equal members on the CCCC Team of Editors. The details of each position follow:
CCCC takes pleasure in announcing a call for the Online Editor of College Composition and Communication.
Collaborating with the Incoming Editor of CCC, the new Online Editor of CCC will have primary responsibility for helping create and edit a new CCC Online that provides a new publication venue for CCC. The CCC Online Editor's term will be five years (non-renewable), ending in December 2014.
- Housed inside the CCCC website, CCC Online may include
peer-reviewed articles - the Revisions series linked to earlier articles
- Symposia articles
- review essays and book reviews linked to books under review and to other contextual materials
- data supporting research articles, and
- multi-media texts composed by students and faculty.
There will be technical support from the NCTE/CCCC staff so that actual programming or Web building is not required.
Institutional Support: Recommended one course release per year.

The Conference on College Composition and Communication (CCCC) is seeking applications from CCCC members for a new position as CCCC MemberWeb Editor. The CCCC MemberWeb Editor's term will be three years (non-renewable) beginning as soon as possible after the application deadline and ending in December of 2012.
The MemberWeb Editor will have the responsibility of orchestrating uses of new Web building structures now available at the CCCC Website (e.g., blogs, Wikis, Face Book and so on), moderating new community spaces, publishing relevant information, and working with NCTE/CCCC to develop a stronger Website with new features. There will be technical support from the NCTE/CCCC staff so that actual programming or Web building is not required. We anticipate that after the initial restructuring period, no more than 5 to 10 hours per month will be required of the Web Editor's time.
Institutional Support: Recommended one course release per year.

Application Process: Please submit by July 1, 2009 a cover letter, cv, a sample of published writing and a one-page statement of the applicant's vision for transforming the CCCC Website into an active community space. Two reference letters from CCCC members attesting to the applicant's qualifications can be sent under separate cover.
