Writing Program Lecturer

Position Description: The Department of Curriculum & Instruction is seeking an open-rank faculty member in early childhood education (ECE). The successful candidate will carry out a rigorous research program and actively pursue external funding. He/she will contribute to the collaborative program in the Departments of Curriculum & Instruction and Special Education leading to ECE certification and endorsement for teaching in Early Childhood Special Education.
Assistant/Associate Professor in Bilingual Education and Literacy
The Department of Curriculum and Instruction seeks candidates with expertise in the literacy development and instruction of English learners (preschool-grade 12). Candidates will undertake a program of research that will lead to an outstanding and sustained record of scholarship and external funding. Teaching assignments will include undergraduate and graduate courses in linguistic and cultural diversity, the bilingual/ESL endorsement programs (on-campus, online, or hybrid), and/or literacy.
