The Department of Curriculum and Instruction seeks candidates for a Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor, non-tenure track appointment in Reading Education with a focus on effective strategies for working with struggling readers from diverse backgrounds, including English language learners. Preference will be given to candidates with substantial grounding in the research and literature related to the cognitive, linguistic, and psychometric factors affecting reading acquisition, assessment, and instruction. Lincoln Land Community College is accepting applications for a full-time, tenure track faculty position in English beginning fall semester of 2013. Duties will include teaching 15 contact hours per semester. Candidates should hold at least a Master’s Degree with 18 graduate hours of concentration in composition pedagogy, including developmental composition theory and practice.
