District of Columbia
The College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences invites nominations and applications for the position of Chair of the Department of Writing and Linguistics with an appointment as Associate Professor or Professor of Writing or Linguistics. Reporting to the Dean of CLASS, the Chair’s responsibilities include administrative, research, and leadership duties as well as teaching two classes per academic year. The position is a 12-month, tenured appointment and requires a terminal degree.
Lincoln Land Community College is accepting applications for a full-time, tenure track faculty position in English beginning fall semester of 2013. Duties will include teaching 15 contact hours per semester. Candidates should hold at least a Master’s Degree with 18 graduate hours of concentration in composition pedagogy, including developmental composition theory and practice.
