Assembly Calendar

June / July

June 1:  NCTE Ballots due to NCTE headquarters.

June 15:  Allotment of NCTE Directors sent to each assembly.

June 15:  Assembly annual reports due to NCTE.

July 9-12, 2009:  Whole Language Umbrella Summer Institute in Columbia, South Carolina.

July 15:  Deadline for assembly reports including special interest group brochure copy, roster updates, dues, editors reports, and information sheets.

Members receive NCTE Annual Convention Preview in July Council Chronicle.

Tax-Exempt Status
Information and resources about 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status through NCTE.

  • Looking to change your journal format?
  • Putting together an information notebook for board members?
  • Trying to revise your constitution?
  • Developing a conference planner's handbook?
  • Thinking about applying for one of the affiliate awards programs?

No need to reinvent the wheel, samples of all these and more are available on one-month loan from the Affiliate Office at NCTE. Simply choose only one resource per affiliate or assembly per month, complete and mail the Request Form.
