Delta Airlines is offering discounted reservations. Ticketing is available via www.delta.com or by calling Delta Meeting Network Reservations at 800-328-1111. Please note that a Direct Ticketing Charge will apply for booking by phone. When booking online, select "Meeting Event Code" and enter NML89 in the box provided on the Search Flight page.
Shared ride service is available to and from the airport from SuperShuttle. Advance reservations are highly recommended. The SuperShuttle service is available 24-hours a day. There is a discount available through NCTE.
How to Get to SuperShuttle After You Land
Upon arrival, follow the signs to the lower level baggage claim and collect your luggage.
For Terminal 1 arrivals, follow the signs for "Hotel Shuttles and Scheduled Vans" to the SuperShuttle ticket counter located in the center of the Ground Transportation Atrium. The ticket counter is staffed with uniformed Customer Service Representatives, and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
For Terminal 2 arrivals, use the ground-level crosswalk or second-level Skyway to proceed to the Ground Transportation Center, located directly across the street from Terminal 2. The ticket counter is staffed with uniformed Customer Service Representatives, and is open 10 AM to 6 PM, seven days a week. You may also use a credit card to purchase a one-way or round-trip ticket from the self-service ticketing kiosk. For additional assistance, customers may pick up the courtesy phone at any time.

Taxicabs are available from both terminals at the airport. In Terminal 1, Lindbergh, there are signs directing you to the taxi starter booth which has airport staff to assist in obtaining a taxi. At Terminal 2, Humphrey, taxi service is available at the Ground Transport Center, directly across from the terminal building.
Approximate fee from airport to downtown Minneapolis is $39 to $49.
At the airport, they will display an initial $6.50 fare. This includes the $2.50 initial charge + the $4 airport access fee.
The cities of Minneapolis & St. Paul regulate taximeter rates. These rates are effective for the entire Metro Area. The taximeters are based on time and mileage and the rates are as follows:
- $2.50 Flag (initial charge)
- $2.00 per mile
- $24.00 per hour waiting time including time lost in traffic delays.
From The West (I-94)
Take the 4th Street exit from I-94 and proceed to 2nd Avenue South. (Do NOT turn right onto 2nd Avenue North.) Turn right on 2nd Avenue South and go 8 blocks to Convention Center.
From the West (I-394)
Take Downtown exit (12th Street): follow 12th Street South to 2nd Avenue South and turn right. The Convention Center is on your left.
From the East (I-94)
Take the 11th Street exit: follow 11th Street South until you reach 2nd Avenue South, turn left onto 2nd Avenue South and cross 12th Street South. The Convention Center is on your left. The Underground Plaza Parking Ramp is on your right.
From the South (I-35W)
Follow downtown exit signs to the 11th Street exit and follow 11th Street to 2nd Avenue South. Turn left on 2nd Avenue South and go 1 block to Convention Center.
From the North (I-35W)
Take I-35W to Hwy 280. Follow Hwy 280 to I-94 west. Follow I-94 to the 11th Street exit (NOT 11th Avenue exit). Follow 11th Street to 2nd Avenue South. Turn left on 2nd Avenue South and go 1 block to the Convention Center.
From the Airport Main Terminal
Take Hwy. 55 exit from the airport. Follow Hwy. 55 west to Minneapolis. This will become Hwy. 62 west. Follow Hwy. 62 to I-35W north to Minneapolis downtown exits. Then take the 11th Street exit. Follow 11th Street South to 2nd Avenue South. Turn left on 2nd Avenue South and go 1 block to the Convention Center.
Entrances/Exits to Underground Plaza Parking Ramp
Enter either on 2nd Avenue South, or on 12th Street South. The Plaza Ramp has handicap parking – elevators and the Skyway connect the Ramp to the Convention Center, allowing easy access for wheelchairs.
Onsite parking is available at the Convention Center for a fee.

Public Entrances to the Convention Center
There are four main public entrance rotundas located on 2nd Avenue S. & Grant Street, labeled "Ballroom Entrance," "Plaza 1," "Plaza 2" and "Plaza 3." Designated handicap-accessible entrances (power assisted doors) are adjacent to Plaza 3 (entrance closest to Wesley Church), and the 12th Street Entrance.
Amtrak is offering NCTE Convention registrants a 10% discount off the best available rail fare to Minneapolis-St Paul, MN, between November 16, 2015, and November 23, 2015. To book your reservation call Amtrak at 1-800-872-7245 or contact your local travel agent.
Convention discounted fares cannot be booked online. Please be sure to refer to Convention Fare Code X34W-926 when making your reservation. This offer is not valid on the Auto Train and Acela Service. Fare is valid on Amtrak Regional for all departures seven days a week, except for holiday blackouts. Offer valid with Sleepers, Business Class or First Class seats with payment of the full applicable accommodation charges.
From Nicollet Mall to the Minneapolis Convention Center, the Minneapolis metrotransit offers Free Ride, a free bus service. Pay just 50 cents to ride other buses within the downtown zone.

Meet Minneapolis (the Minneapolis Convention and Visitors Bureau), will also have a restaurant reservation/information booth at the Minneapolis Convention Center. They will offer maps, restaurant guides, calendars of events, visitor brochures, information on restaurants, and even a concierge to assist in making dining reservations, getting directions, arranging transportation, and gathering information regarding attractions, shopping, and culture.
