Then start the morning out at the First-Timer's Breakfast, "Mentoring Matters," from 7:00-8:00 a.m. sponsored by Random House Teacher Award for Literacy with presentation by Tony Danza. Get some tips on making the most of your convention experience, and find out who the award winners are.

Join us for the College Celebration and Reception from 7:00-9:00 p.m. with speaker Carolyn Calhoon-Dillahunt. We will also honor the winners of the Richard Ohmann Award for an Outstanding Article in College English and the David H. Russell Award for Distinguished Research in the Teaching of English.
